About the role
Security guards are part of the Swedish legal system and work to maintain order in public places. Security guards must have good physical ability, be able to handle conflicts, and be skilled in communication. They use radios, handcuffs, and sometimes body-worn cameras. Knowledge of first aid and self-defense are also important skills for the profession. Common competencies demanded by employers are svenskt medborgarskap, säkerhetsfrågor and fastighetsunderhåll.
