Jobnet respects your integrity and your right to control your personal information. Our basic principles are simple. We want all users visiting the website to be anonymous for as long as possible. We work to make it clear which data we collect and why it’s collected.

The processing of personal data takes place in accordance with the EU's general data protection regulation, EU 2016/679, i.e., GDPR.

By using or by submitting an application you agree that Jobnet can processes your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Collection of personal data

First and foremost, we collect the information directly from you within the framework of the relationship we have with you. You can be a contact person for any of our customers, suppliers, partners or jobseekers.

To be able to create the best possible experience during and after the recruiting process or the best possible business relation between you and your employer, we need to be able to manage, process and store your data. As a jobseeker, the personal information you provide can be shared to Jobnets customers during the recruitment process of job listings you have applied for. However, this only applies if you’ve actively approved of it. Prior to approval you’re still anonymous.

Jobnet is responsible for ensuring that the login information you provide is stored in an encrypted manner.

Personal data that is collected

Examples of personal data that we might manage is basic contact information and your answers from questionnaires and interviews. It can also be other material that’s sent to us in connection to the recruitment process.

Why do we process your information and legal bases?

Jobnet only processes the personal data that is necessary to be able to carry out the recruitment process. Personal data is processed only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Jobnet processes your personal data in order to:

  • Determine job seekers relevance for the current listing
  • Manage contact with candidates.
  • Keep statistics for target group optimization.
  • Handle any disputes or cases regarding alleged discrimination.

Consent from the data subject

You agree that Jobnet, as the person responsible for personal data, processes your personal data in order to handle the recruitment. You agree that personal information is collected when you make an application and add personal information about yourself, personally or by using a third party (such as LinkedIn). You also agree that we collect publicly available information about you and compile it for the purpose of recruiting. As an applicant, you agree that Jobnet saves the personal data for as long as required in accordance with current Swedish legislation.

You always have the right to revoke your consent if you no longer want us to process your personal data. You can revoke your consent at any time by contacting us at [email protected].


Personal data that’s collected is stored and managed within EU/ESS.

How long is personal data processed?

If you do not object in writing to the processing of your personal data, the personal data will be stored and processed by us for as long as we deem it necessary with regards to the purposes stated above. Please note that a jobseeker may be of interest for future recruitment and for this purpose we may store your personal information for as long as it is deemed interesting for potential recruitments.

Upon cessation of consent, we retain your information for two years from your last application date as evidence of a fair recruitment process. This is done in accordance with the Discrimination Ombudsman's recommendations and directives. After this your personal data is anonymized and all data identifying you is deleted.


We will not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties. We may however need to transfer your personal data if required by law by authorities.

Transferring personal data to third parties

We prioritize personal integrity and therefore work actively to ensure that your personal data is treated with the utmost care. We take the measures required to ensure that your personal data is processed securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and GDPR. However, transmission of information via the Internet and mobile networks can never take place completely risk-free, which is why all transmission takes place at your own risk.

Aggregated data

We may share aggregated information (non-identifiable personal information) with third parties. In such a case, the aggregated information has been compiled and may, for example, consist of statistics. Aggregate information does not contain any information that can be traced to a specific individual and therefore does not constitute personal data.

Changes to the privacy policy

Jobnet reserves the right to revise the Privacy Policy. If we make any changes to the Privacy Policy, we will publish these on Jobnet's website. If we change the Privacy Policy in a way that differs significantly from what was stated when your consent was collected, we will notify you of these changes and, if necessary, ask you to consent to Jobnet's personal data processing again.
