Senior Embedded EngineerHere you will be an important part of our product development, from the first concept to full-scale launch and production. Together with experienced colleagues, you will play a crucial role in the entire process.We are looking for an experienced embedded developer who wants to be part of developing new solutions and challenging technical boundaries. Your responsibilities will include close collaboration with our customers to understand their needs, shaping the product's functionality, and making important decisions about algorithms, implementation, and long-term sustainability.At Qamcom, you will work on projects at a high technical level. Many of us have a PhD or many years of experience, so you will work with incredibly talented colleagues.We have a role-based organization, without managers, where you have the opportunity to influence and develop your position in the organization.We are on the border between a product and consulting company, which means that we work with new development and innovation. We offer exciting assignments with a mix of in-house and external work at the customer's location.You have great freedom to control your work based on what suits you and the project.

Skills
To succeed in this role, you have at least a 3-year academic education and 6 years of experience, or you have a PHD. You are familiar with embedded technologies such as C or C++, Linux, and have generally good system development skills. You have experience throughout the development process and are accustomed to seeking knowledge in new areas.Personal Qualities

You enjoy collaborating with both colleagues and clients and understand the requirements of the project to deliver a good result. This is what makes us stand out
Qamcom has many well-known customers in industries such as medtech, space, telecom, smart city, automotive, and manufacturing. One fun and current project is Topgolf, which could be seen at the Olympics in Paris. With the help of a radar developed by Qamcom, you can measure the spin, speed, and several other values of the golf ball, which are presented in real-time for TV viewers.
Many of our projects are closely linked to research. Some examples are: the SKA project with the world's largest telescope, Mabtech - a Swedish biotech company developing new vaccines, Librixer which produces vegan protein, to name a few.
Every year, we also go on a joint trip which usually becomes very enjoyable. Sometimes it goes to the snow and sometimes to the warmth.
Location
Qamcom Group has its headquarters in Mektagonen at Falkenbergsgatan 3 in Gothenburg. The office is on the top floor in bright and modern premises where both workspaces and labs are close at hand. Several of the sister companies we collaborate with are located in the building.The area is calm, right next to Mölndalsån with good connections to trams, buses, bike paths, and parking facilities. There are plenty of restaurants, both in the building and in the vicinity.In addition to several restaurants, the building also houses a flower shop, pharmacy, grocery store, hotel, and gym. There are also several cafes nearby and green areas for relaxation.
