In the role of a software architect, you will work as an architect or developer in various client and in-house projects, with a focus on new innovative technology, where you also contribute to driving HiQ's strategic development within the architecture domain. In your daily work, you will work with microservice-based architecture, reactive frameworks, Docker containers, as well as platform and cloud services for applications.As a software architect, you will be part of the software development department, where some of your colleagues from the start will be Tobias, Magnus, and Mathias. These three, and of course many more, will welcome you to HiQ with open arms.

What we’re looking for

Skills

To fit into the role of a software architect at HiQ, you should have at least 3 years of work experience as a software architect and be proficient in working with Java and/or .NET. In this role, you will use both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, so you should be comfortable with both languages at a higher professional level. As this company and role requires fluency in Swedish,the application questionnaires are only available in Swedish.

Personal Qualities

In this role, it is desirable to have strong communication skills, a genuine interest in technology and development, and a drive to create really cool things together with your colleagues.

HiQ's office is located in the Nordstan House at Östra Hamngatan 24 in central Gothenburg, right next to the hub Brunnsparken. Here, in a large bright office with an open floor plan and several conference rooms for workshops and creative meetings, about 220 colleagues work as software developers, business developers, requirement analysts, project managers, and business developers, among other roles. In addition to its beautiful premises, HiQ also has a really nice rooftop terrace with a view of the entire city. The employees often gather here to celebrate or do fun things together.
