At Prevas, they often work in project form and these can vary in both direction and size. The work is based from the office in central Gothenburg but can also be carried out from home or at the customer's site.You will work with industrial processes, where you act as an advisor and show the way for customers in their efficiency and improvement work. Here, you map the customer's current situation and desired situation and help them identify and implement the journey in between. You project manage and drive agreed upon initiatives - everything from lean initiatives to digitization or automation.In this role, your methodology and your strong drive become your main tools. But also the team, where you are supported by other industrial business developers like Elisabeth, Malin, Francis, Björn, and James-Dean. At Prevas, you become part of a familiar atmosphere where everyone contributes with their knowledge in a learning environment.

Skills
To fit the role as an industrial business developer, you should have a degree in civil or industrial engineering and have a professional background in IT. Prevas prefers that you have experience in leading teams in both early and late implementation stages. Perhaps you also have experience in industrial improvement work.

Prevas sorts their waste at the office and primarily travels by train when travel is necessary. They also have an environmental focus when purchasing products and services for the office, as well as for conferences, events, and staff gatherings.
Sustainability is the red thread in everything Prevas does, and even though small means are important, Prevas' real sustainability work happens through the work they do with their customers. Both internal and external work is done in coordination with their sustainability calendar, where different months have different theme areas that reflect one or more of the UN's goals in Agenda 2030. This includes, among other things, reduced environmental impact, social health, circular societies, equality, and overconsumption of the Earth's resources.
Diversity
Currently, about a quarter of Prevas employees are women, but the company is actively working in several ways to increase that number, not only within the company but also in the industry as a whole. They engage in various female networking conferences and sponsor a dinner, held by Chalmers, for young female engineers. They also work to increase ethnic diversity within the company as it is seen as an important point for improvement.

Personal development is an important issue for Prevas, and it is something that they continuously follow up with their employees on. They prefer that their employees stay at the forefront of various competencies, making development an important part of their work. All employees at the company receive individual development plans where there are great opportunities for development. Prevas collaborates with various digital platforms, training programs, and universities, such as Harvard Online Training, to increase development opportunities. They also believe that it is important for employees to leverage their networks to further develop their work. Therefore, they work with learning lunches where both employees and external experts contribute knowledge over lunch.

Our office is beautiful and centrally located right by the bridge with a 5-minute walk to the Central Station in Gothenburg. Here on the 13th floor, our 55 employees sit in an open landscape on 353 sqm, with a beautiful view of the city and several meeting rooms and other common areas. The layout of the office is characterized by well-thought-out sustainable material choices and furnishings where the individual is in focus, with modern and flexible attributes and floor-to-ceiling windows for maximum natural light.
