Sustainability

Diversity
The majority of the employees at Visit are swedish but there are other ethnicities represented as well. At the Stockholm office the mix is about 90/10 and in Gothenburg it’s 70/30, however Visit has a positive view on more ethnicities being represented as it creates a better width in both the company and its products. The mix between men and women among the employees at Visit is about 60/40, something Visit aims to level out in the future. To reach more female developers, different strategies are applied when writing job ads, choosing appropriate social channels and creating representation in marketing is reviewed and used as tools in the recruitment process.

Personal development

Visit has a policy about personal development within the staff by arranging meetings twice a year where individual development plans are set up. Visit also prioritize bigger development events where everyone at the company is involved. This comes in small formats, like Lunch & Learn, as well as through bigger formats that span over a longer period of time. Visit as a company aim to live by the motto ‘hire for personality and train for skills’, where the employees, both new and experienced, are encouraged to evolve and take on new roles within the company. This is adapted by primarily trying to recruit internally to give employees new opportunities.
