Tower crane operator apprentices assist in the handling of tower cranes under supervision and learn safety procedures and the mechanics of the crane. They participate in daily safety checks and maintenance of the crane. The apprentice also contributes to the loading and unloading of materials as well as communication with ground staff.Skills and tools
