Halmstads Energi och Miljö (HEM) is now building a team to support the organization both through cost-effective data management and with innovative solution proposals. Here, you will be an important solution mediator focusing on front-end, back-end, and middleware.You will work broadly in a modern technical hybrid environment with both cloud-based services and on-premises solutions. This may involve development within an existing system, but also standalone solutions such as an app that retrieves data from the backend. The role means you will work closely with stakeholders, utilizing your social skills and ability to communicate in a non-technical manner.At HEM, you always work together with others, mostly on-site in the company's modern and fresh offices in Halmstad. Some of the colleagues who will support you in your work are Daniel, Hanna, Amalia, Emelie, Ulf, and Pernilla.You can look forward to a fun and exciting role where you have the opportunity to drive your own projects.

Skills

To fit the role, we see that you have an academic or vocational education in system development, or alternatively a couple of years of experience working as a full-stack developer. You are comfortable in a modern Azure DevOps environment and experienced in working with C#, .NET, and building REST APIs. It is advantageous if you also have experience in database management, such as MSSQL.

As an environmental company, HEM does everything they can to be as climate-neutral as possible. All vehicles used at HEM are electric, and the garbage trucks run on renewable HVO fuel. Halmstads Energi och Miljö's headquarters is located at Svartalundsvägen 2, between Halmstad city center and the Flygstaden commercial area. In an open and cozy office landscape, 140 employees with various areas of expertise work, including Distribution, Finance, Sales, IT, HR, and Communication.The office is easily accessible by car, bus, bike, and on foot, with just under 15 minutes from central Halmstad. Both the Flygstaden commercial area and the city center offer plenty of nice lunch spots, but you also have the option to order lunch delivered directly to the office.The position is security classified, which means, for example, that a background check is conducted in connection with employment.
