Halmstads Energi och Miljö is now looking for someone who thrives in a broad role where you are the link between IT, operations, and suppliers, with responsibility for central systems and parts of the system portfolio.
Halmstads Energi och Miljö is now building a team to support the organization both through cost-effective system management and with innovative solution proposals. Here, you will become an important solution mediator with a focus on system management for HEM's large operational system BFUS with an associated print supplier, which is currently under procurement and where you will be involved in the implementation of the new system.

In this role, you will be an important link between IT, operations, and suppliers, focusing on stable systems, clear workflows, and solutions that make everyday life easier for users.Among other things, you will work with the management and further development of HEM's central operational systems. An important part of the role is also to coordinate the internal Transformation Portfolio, where HEM's overarching systems are managed and developed together with the organization's stakeholders. This means you will follow up on needs, priorities, suppliers, budget, and improvement initiatives.The role suits someone who has a good understanding of system management, processes, and information handling, and who sees the value of active lifecycle management. You enjoy a broad assignment where you can combine structure, technology, service, and change management, as well as participate in and lead internal projects that develop HEM's systems and workflows.At HEM, you always work together with others in a great team, mostly on-site in modern and fresh premises. You can look forward to a fun and exciting role where you have the opportunity to grow and develop in a fantastic team.Start date: October 1, 2026, with a 3-month handover period.

What we’re looking for

Skills
To fit the role, we would like you to have experience in system management and a good understanding of business processes. You should also have some technical knowledge related to application management and familiarity with frameworks such as PM3 and ITIL. You will need to have strong self-leadership skills and be accustomed to leading others. You should have knowledge of information security, GDPR, and cybersecurity principles. If you have knowledge in Oracle, SQL, APIs, and basic scripting/programming, it is considered a merit. You also need to be able to communicate effectively in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who is analytical, structured, and solution-oriented, with a strong desire to contribute to development and improvement. You are communicative, take responsibility, and thrive in the role as a hub between IT, operations, and suppliers. You have strong self-leadership and are confident in leading others forward, even without formal authority. The role requires a strong team focus and close collaboration both within the team and with individuals who are less familiar with IT and system understanding. Active environmental choices
As an environmental company, HEM does everything they can to be as climate-neutral as possible. All vehicles used at HEM are electric, and the garbage trucks run on renewable HVO fuel. In an open and welcoming office environment, 140 employees with various areas of expertise work, including Distribution, Finance, Sales, IT, HR, and Communication.The office is easy to reach by car, bus, bike, or on foot, taking less than 15 minutes from central Halmstad. Both the Flygstaden commercial area and the city center offer plenty of nice lunch spots, but you also have the option to order lunch delivered directly to the office.The position is security-classified, which means, for example, that a background check is conducted in connection with employment.
