The company offers energy services in electricity, district heating and cooling, as well as waste management and incineration. By combining modern technology with environmentally friendly methods, Halmstad Energy and Environment produces and distributes electricity, heat and cooling. As a IT/system manager, you have the opportunity to shape the role and management work within HEM. You are responsible for the central management portfolio and also provide operational 2nd line support to your colleagues at HEM.Examples of tasks included in the role are to ensure that requirements and SLAs are met by suppliers, collaborate with CISO for security, align the systems with the needs of the business, and coordinate the management organization around the portfolio. You are also responsible for coordinating the portfolio's budget work and follow-up.The portfolio includes HEM's large and cross-functional business systems, which are 6 in total with smaller peripheral systems that handle customer/data and communication platforms.

Skills

To succeed in the role of system manager, we see that you have post-secondary education/university or experience that is considered equivalent. Experience in system management, system leadership, budgeting and follow-up is important. Leadership experience or experience in coordination is also a plus. You thrive in changing environments and are accustomed to creating understanding of complex contexts, both system and organizational. The role is classified as security classified, which means that you must have Swedish citizenship. You also need to be able to communicate effectively in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

Active environmental choices

As an environmental company, HEM does everything they can to be as climate-neutral as possible. They actively work with ecological sustainability, and their environmental mindset permeates everything they do, both internally and externally. They sort all waste generated in the business. All vehicles used at HEM are electric, and the garbage trucks run on renewable HVO fuel. Location

Halmstads Energi och Miljö's headquarters is located at Svartalundsvägen 2, between Halmstad city center and the Flygstaden commercial area. In an open and cozy office environment, 140 employees with various areas of expertise work, including Distribution, Finance, Sales, IT, HR, and Communication.The office is easily accessible by car, bus, bike, and on foot, with less than 15 minutes from central Halmstad.
