You become a part of a new project that is currently undergoing a Proof of Concept (PoC). Your main task here is to build the next generation server using Rust and GraphDB, while also leading the project forward. You both build and support the team so that together you deliver a good product within the given timeframe. You have your social skills and strong interest in new technology to help you. As a group, you have great freedom to shape the workflow and work in a format that suits you.At SystemWeaver, you work with a small team where you join Simon, Ludvig, Magnus, and Bashar, among others. The team also collaborates with an external group of developers in India - a lovely group of people who feel more like colleagues than partners.

What we’re looking for

Skills
We believe that you have worked as a developer for at least five years, preferably in a role with a lot of personal responsibility. To succeed, you need to have solid experience in the Rust programming language. Perhaps you have a background in the following areas: Embedded development, C, C++, GO, Databases (MS Sql, Sqlite, Oracle), Communication protocols (such as TCP), server development, backend development, Linux/windows, and Graph DB. We also see that you are proficient in the English language, both in speech and writing.
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone with social skills who enjoys a leadership role where you have the opportunity to influence the work forward. Of course, you have a knack for collaboration and a genuine interest in SystemWeaver and new technology.

Location

At the turn of the year, SystemWeaver's 30 employees will move to the 23rd floor of Citygate – the largest office building in the Nordic region. The building is located in the Gårda area in Gothenburg. Here you have access to several restaurants, cafes, gyms, and bicycle hotels.Citygate is strategically located near the E6, and by car, you can quickly reach everything in and around Gothenburg. For those who travel by bus, the nearest stop is Vagnhallen Gårda. The tram is also a good option, with nearby stops like Ullevi Norra.
