The work in this role primarily involves holding teams together, having good oversight of projects, taking initiative, motivating and leading colleagues in exciting cross-functional projects. Thanks to HEM's broad work areas, with an increasing focus on digitization, in electricity networks, electricity trading, district heating, and waste management, there are opportunities to lead projects of varying sizes and categories. The project that may be closest in time is driving HEM's journey towards a self-managed infrastructure. It may also be to support operations in moving from old monolithic thinking to data-driven, flexible, and scalable solutions and the introduction of new platforms operating in hybrid environments.The role also involves handling feasibility studies, requirement work, and technical solution procurement, as well as risk analysis and planning according to relevant project models and various quality and safety requirements. Following up and evaluating IT projects is also part of your responsibilities, as well as active participation in steering group meetings. Currently, Microsoft (M365) is the primary collaboration platform internally and is used in practically all work related to the company's project managers, but in the future, it may be relevant to switch to Antura.As a project manager, you work relatively independently and self-reliantly, with the main focus on leading your projects and the teams that belong to them. You also become part of the project office where you are part of a team of eight colleagues including project managers Ola, Helena, Rolf, Veronica, Annika, and Ulf as well as project manager Christer.
