As a central part of Halmstads Energi och Miljö, you will play a key role in leading and executing projects from the idea stage to final delivery. You will work closely with both the IT department and the organization at large, with responsibility for creating clarity around goals, priorities, and expectations. This applies regardless of whether the projects are run using agile methods or more traditional waterfall models.Your tasks include leading and executing IT and business projects from start to finish, while ensuring that deliveries are made according to the set schedule, budget, and quality requirements. You will also work with change management and business development in collaboration with managers and employees. An important part of the role is to create structure and clarity as well as drive progress in complex initiatives.In addition, you are expected to contribute to developing working methods in project management and change work. You will also support and coach your colleagues in their project work, making your role both strategic and operational.

What we’re looking for

Skills

You are an experienced project manager with relevant education or equivalent experience, who has led complex projects in both IT and operations. You have a good understanding of business development, are accustomed to working in both agile and traditional methods, and have experience in change management. You create structure and drive progress in complex environments and have a very strong ability to communicate and engage with various stakeholders, with fluent Swedish in speech and writing. It is advantageous if you have certification in project management, experience from larger organizations or critical societal operations, as well as having worked with process development, program management, or coaching and developing others.

You are a confident and experienced project manager who thrives in a complex environment where you can combine structure, leadership, and change management. You have a pedagogical way of communicating, build trust, and bring people along towards common goals.

Halmstads Energi och Miljö's headquarters is located at Svartalundsvägen 2, between Halmstad city center and the Flygstaden commercial area. In an open and cozy office landscape, 140 employees with various areas of expertise work, including Distribution, Finance, Sales, IT, HR, and Communication.The office is easily accessible by car, bus, bike, and on foot, with just under 15 minutes from central Halmstad. Both the Flygstaden commercial area and the city center offer plenty of nice lunch spots, but you also have the option to order lunch delivered directly to the office.The position is security classified, which means, for example, that a background check is conducted in connection with employment.
