In this role, you will be an important part of the team and contribute to ensuring that our IT environment is secure, stable, and adaptable for development. You will work with the operation and troubleshooting of networks, servers, and security solutions, and participate in both daily tasks and exciting projects. Currently, we are working extensively on a new network for the entire organization.The role also involves contact with colleagues and suppliers, and you help create clear and useful documentation.You don't need to know everything from the start – we are looking for someone who has an interest in the field, is solution-oriented, and wants to grow with us. We believe that different backgrounds and perspectives make us stronger, and we encourage you to apply even if you don't recognize yourself in every point.In short – you help keep the machinery running and future-proof.

Skills

We believe that you have an IT education or have acquired the knowledge through experience. You are familiar with the basics of Windows Server, networking (preferably with Cisco or Fortinet), virtualization, and Active Directory. Perhaps you have also started exploring cloud services like Azure or AWS, or are curious to learn more. You enjoy solving problems, have an eye for detail, and can explain technology in a way that others understand. You also have a sense of how IT connects with the business and prioritize security highly. Do you also have certifications in, for example, Nutanix, Fortinet, Cohesity, or Azure? Great – but it's not a requirement.

Personal Qualities

You are curious, humble, responsible, and enjoy collaborating. You have a solid foundation in technology to rely on, but you want to continue developing. Structure, problem-solving, and team spirit are natural parts of how you work. The most important thing for us is not exactly what you have done before, but how you approach new challenges.

As an environmental company, HEM does everything they can to be as climate-neutral as possible. All vehicles used at HEM are electric, and the garbage trucks run on renewable HVO fuel. Halmstads Energi och Miljö's headquarters is located at Svartalundsvägen 2, between Halmstad city center and the Flygstaden commercial area. In an open and cozy office environment, 140 employees with various areas of expertise work, including Distribution, Finance, Sales, IT, HR, and Communication.The office is easily accessible by car, bus, bike, and on foot, with less than 15 minutes from central Halmstad.
