As the department manager for IT infrastructure, you play a key role in shaping sustainable IT solutions at Halmstads Energi och Miljö, where innovation meets environmental and social responsibility.

We are now looking for a dedicated manager with staff responsibility for our IT infrastructure department – someone who wants to develop people, shape working methods, and simultaneously contribute operationally to the technical work. This role is suitable for someone who may have some experience in leadership, for example in a team-leading function or informal leadership, but who has a strong desire to take the next step in their career. Previous managerial experience is a plus but not a requirement.

You have a key role in further developing HEM's network and creating a clear structure for how the work with management, documentation, and long-term stability should be conducted.In the role, you will lead and support a team of technicians and IT administrators, where you provide clear direction and promote good collaboration. You will participate in projects, make decisions, and take part in technical forums concerning IT architecture and operational support. In addition to the team, you will work closely with several managers and other departments.To succeed in the role, you need to have knowledge of frameworks such as NIS2 and understand how to build an infrastructure that not only meets technical requirements but also business needs and legislation.Your tasks include designing and further developing networks in a structured, secure, and future-proof manner. You are responsible for developing structures and routines for documentation, operations, and management. As the person responsible for the network's further development, you will ensure that the solutions meet requirements for security, availability, and compliance with regulations.

Skills

For this role, you need to have five years of experience in operational work with IT infrastructure and networks. You are comfortable taking on a leadership role and want personnel responsibility. You are used to taking responsibility for structure and making things happen. You will work with technologies in network design such as switching/routing, security, Windows Server, AD, and virtualization. You are familiar with regulations such as NIS2 or ISO 27001. Previous leadership experience as well as certifications in TOGAF, ITIL, or cloud architecture are advantageous, as is experience with OT environments.

Halmstads Energi och Miljö's headquarters is located at Svartalundsvägen 2, between Halmstad city center and the Flygstaden commercial area. In an open and cozy office environment, 140 employees with various areas of expertise work, including Distribution, Finance, Sales, IT, HR, and Communication.The office is easily accessible by car, bus, bike, and on foot, with less than 15 minutes from central Halmstad.
