Now they are looking for several dedicated and experienced electronics designers who are well-versed in product development and have a strong understanding of systems.

As an electronics designer, you will develop products with regulations and follow-up as the focus. In your daily work, you will, among other things, work with the design of power electronics, printed circuit board layout, and testing according to EMC directives.You will be part of the Compliant Product Solutions team, which currently consists of about thirty people, where some of your closest colleagues will be Anders, Daniel, Martin, and Andreas.

Skills

To succeed in this role, you should have an engineering degree in electronics, technical physics, medical technology or similar, as well as several years of work experience in electronics development, with tasks related to, for example, analog digital electronic design, schematic drawing, PCB layout and EMC. For this role, you will use both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, so you should be comfortable with both languages at a higher work-related level.

Your commitment and interest in technology and electronics combined with your team spirit and ability to work well with both people and technology is what makes you right for the role. It is also good if you have an easy time communicating and recognize yourself in qualities such as customer-oriented and solution-oriented.

Active environmental choices

Prevas sorts their waste at the office and primarily travels by train when travel is necessary. They also have an environmental focus when purchasing products and services for the office, as well as for conferences, events, and staff gatherings. Sustainability is the red thread in everything Prevas does, and even though small means are important, Prevas' real sustainability work happens through the work they do with their customers. Both internal and external work is done in coordination with their sustainability calendar, where different months have different theme areas that reflect one or more of the UN's goals in Agenda 2030. This includes, among other things, reduced environmental impact, social health, circular societies, equality, and overconsumption of the Earth's resources.

Diversity

Currently, about a quarter of Prevas employees are women, but the company is actively working in several ways to increase that number, not only within the company but also in the industry as a whole. They engage in various female networking conferences and sponsor a dinner, held by Chalmers, for young female engineers. They also work to increase ethnic diversity within the company as it is seen as an important point for improvement.

Personal development

Personal development is an important issue for Prevas, and it is something that they continuously follow up with their employees on. They prefer that their employees stay at the forefront of various competencies, making development an important part of their work. All employees at the company receive individual development plans where there are great opportunities for development. Prevas collaborates with various digital platforms, training programs, and universities, such as Harvard Online Training, to increase development opportunities. They also believe that it is important for employees to leverage their networks to further develop their work. Therefore, they work with learning lunches where both employees and external experts contribute knowledge over lunch. Location

Prevas' office is located in the newly built Platinan, a hub for offices, co-working spaces, and events, on Mårten Krakowgatan 2, right next to Gothenburg Central Station. Prevas will be located on the 13th floor with a great view of Gothenburg, and the company's 50 employees will be spread out over 353 square meters of open space, including several meeting rooms and other common areas. The office layout is characterized by thoughtful sustainable material choices and furnishings that prioritize individual needs, with modern and flexible features and floor-to-ceiling windows for maximum natural light.
