Experienced application specialist with focus on systems for an entrepreneur-led company on an expansive journey of change. Swedemount is an established retail company with 15 stores under the name Sportshopen, spread from north to south. Today,they are one of the largest individual actors in Sweden when it comes to the sale of clothing and equipment for sports and leisure, and with a growing e-commerce, they're now aiming towards the European market. Now they are looking for a skilled and driven Nav specialist who wants to contribute with knowledge and insights and take a big responsibility in leading and shaping the company's IT operations.
The work as an Application Specialist at Swedemount is mainly about creating the vision and strategy that shapes the company's IT department. This is done by gathering requirements from the organization and transforming them into specifications for the developers, being well-versed in the business system and its various modules, and developing new project processes that have not previously existed in the business. You will also be responsible for training and similar activities for the organization and spend a lot of time working closely with the developers to discuss and develop good solutions. Currently, there are no ready-made templates for exactly how this role should be structured, so you will have a lot of personal responsibility and opportunities to shape the role to best fit both you and the organization.In this role, you will be part of the specialist team on the IT side and work closely with the developers. Some of your colleagues from the start will be IT technicians Amanda and Enis, developers Anders and Jörgen, and IT manager Magnus, who will all welcome you to Swedemount with open arms.

What we’re looking for

Skills
For this role, you should have several years of experience as a NAV specialist, preferably in finance, warehousing, and retail, as well as a good understanding of business systems and development. Experience in project management is a big plus, as the role requires a lot of team responsibility and you will need to manage and oversee several different parts, including processes and other workgroups. As this company and role requires fluency in Swedish,the application questionnaires are only available in Swedish.
Personal Qualities
As a person, you should be attentive and structured. It is good if you have good communication and interaction skills with others. Your curiosity and genuine interest in development, as well as retail and fashion, make you an engaged and solution-oriented employee. Active environmental choices
At Swedemount they do their best to engage in active environmental choices as much as possible in the industry they operate in. The newly built office is environmentally certified and here employees will be able to sort waste such as food leftovers, plastic, cardboard, etc. In their warehouses and stores, they prioritize the use of recycled materials and recycled plastic. Swedemount collaborates with RISE where they are members of the chemical group, whose purpose is to spread the latest information on chemistry and environmental issues related to textiles. They also collaborate with TMR (Tailor-Made Responsibility) to fulfill producer responsibility for recycling packaging for their products. Swedemount is constantly looking for new materials to develop their range in a more sustainable direction as it is important for them to offer quality products that will function for as long as possible with consideration for the environment. To offer their customers high-quality products that are sustainable for a long time while being produced under safe and fair conditions, they pay extra attention to the choice of materials, quality, as well as chemicals and animal husbandry when developing their own clothes. Among their employees, they also encourage carpooling or the use of electric cars for longer trips, for example on kickoffs or trips to the headquarters in Grebbestad.

Swedemount nytt kontor
Currently, Swedemount's Gothenburg office is located at Datavägen 17 in Sisjön, but in May they will move to a brand new office at Röra Byväg 5 in Torslanda. The new office is located on the 2nd floor and is 1000m² in size. The remaining 20,000m² will be the core for Swedemount's warehouse and logistics operations. Here, they will use an automated robot solution to send e-commerce orders to customers around Sweden and the world.All types of departments from Swedemount will be gathered at the new office, from HR, Finance, Purchasing, and Logistics to Design, E-commerce, and IT. Warehouse personnel will also be located here. On the 2nd-floor office plan, approximately 40 employees will sit in the newly built premises, which include an open office landscape with several small offices and meeting rooms. There will also be activity rooms, lounge areas, pantries, and a completely private gym with a sauna.As the office is located a bit outside of the city, it is easiest to get there by car, so Swedemount will offer free parking for all employees as well as the possibility to charge electric cars. However, it is possible to get there by public transportation, but it is somewhat limited in the area.
